9 more bodies of Sikkim flood victims wash ashore, toll 82

The death toll from the flash flood in north Sikkim has risen to 82, with nine more bodies being found downstream of the Teesta river. Among the victims are 23 Army personnel, with only one soldier found alive so far. The flood, caused by a glacial lake outburst, has also displaced many people, prompting former footballer Bhaichung Bhutia to launch a campaign for relief and rehabilitation.
